Position Title: Wealth Advisor
*Deerfield, IL (Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Position Overview:

Our client, a well-established independent wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients. This is a service-focused advisory role, not a business development position.

The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of approximately 50–100 clients, delivering fiduciary advice and long-term relationship management. The firm’s growth model is referral-based, allowing advisors to focus exclusively on client service, planning, and investment oversight within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice to high-net-worth clients.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews and ongoing financial plan updates.
  • Manage client investment portfolios in alignment with firm strategy.
  • Build and maintain meaningful, long-term client relationships.
  • Serve as primary advisor for assigned client relationships.
  • Support retirement plan relationships, including meetings with trustees and plan participants.
  • Monitor plan investments and conduct educational meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and advisory team members.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services.
  • Strong client-facing experience managing advisory relationships.
  • Professional designations such as CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®, or CPA/PFS preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses highly preferred.
  • Experience serving clients with investable assets of $750K+.
  • Financial planning and portfolio management experience required.
  • Knowledge of small business retirement plans preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEC and FINRA regulations.
