Position Title: Wealth Advisor
*Deerfield, IL (Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Position Overview:
Our client, a well-established independent wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients. This is a service-focused advisory role, not a business development position.
The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of approximately 50–100 clients, delivering fiduciary advice and long-term relationship management. The firm’s growth model is referral-based, allowing advisors to focus exclusively on client service, planning, and investment oversight within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic financial planning advice to high-net-worth clients.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and ongoing financial plan updates.
- Manage client investment portfolios in alignment with firm strategy.
- Build and maintain meaningful, long-term client relationships.
- Serve as primary advisor for assigned client relationships.
- Support retirement plan relationships, including meetings with trustees and plan participants.
- Monitor plan investments and conduct educational meetings as needed.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and advisory team members.
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and strategic projects.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services.
- Strong client-facing experience managing advisory relationships.
- Professional designations such as CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®, or CPA/PFS preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses highly preferred.
- Experience serving clients with investable assets of $750K+.
- Financial planning and portfolio management experience required.
- Knowledge of small business retirement plans preferred.
- Familiarity with SEC and FINRA regulations.
