Plan Administrator: TPA-Remote

Position Title: Plan Administrator – TPA

Position Overview:

Our client, a growing retirement plan consulting firm, is seeking a Plan Administrator with traditional TPA experience to support defined contribution and related retirement plans. This role involves full-service administration within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a TPA setting, strong compliance knowledge, and familiarity with ASC Administration (preferred). This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term career growth within a structured and team-oriented organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle administration of assigned retirement plans.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, advisors, and professional partners.
  • Determine eligibility, vesting, and reconcile census data.
  • Prepare Forms 5500 and related government filings.
  • Perform compliance testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), 402(g), 416, 415).
  • Calculate employer contributions, including permitted disparity and cross-tested formulas.
  • Review plan document provisions and assist with plan design updates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all compliance deliverables.
  • Maintain organized client records and workflow documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–4+ years of retirement plan administration experience.
  • Experience working in a traditional TPA environment.
  • Working knowledge of ASC Administration System preferred.
  • Experience with balance forward administration preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and plan document provisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
