Participant Engagement Specialist

Position Title: Participant Engagement Specialist
*Dallas, TX (In-Office). Schedule: 8-hour shift starting at 8:00–8:30 am (½ hour unpaid lunch)


Position Overview:

Our client, a growing retirement advisory organization serving small and mid-sized businesses, is seeking a Participant Engagement Specialist to educate and support retirement plan participants.

This role focuses on delivering one-on-one retirement education sessions, both virtually and onsite, helping individuals understand savings strategies, investment options, account setup, and rollovers. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, engaging, and comfortable presenting financial concepts to diverse audiences. This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role with meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver group retirement education presentations (Spanish fluency highly preferred).
  • Educate participants on savings strategies, asset allocation, and retirement planning basics.
  • Assist participants with account setup and retirement account rollovers.
  • Support Retirement Counselors with campaign planning and scheduling.
  • Partner with plan sponsors to coordinate participant engagement initiatives.
  • Manage follow-up communications and service-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all participant interactions.
  • Support departmental projects and training initiatives.
  • Contribute to team strategy discussions and process improvements.
  • Travel up to 30% (approximately 1–2 trips per month, 2–3 business days per trip).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong tenure and demonstrated career stability.
  • Client-facing experience in financial services or related industry preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly preferred (ability to conduct full presentations in Spanish).
  • Ability to obtain required securities registrations or currently hold applicable licenses/designations.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial services and retirement planning.
