Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a high-performing Sales professional to drive revenue growth by developing and expanding relationships with referral partners and prospective clients across a national territory. This role focuses on cultivating opportunities through established referral sources while also proactively generating new business.
The Sales professional will work closely with referral partners such as investment banks and financial institutions to convert opportunities into new client relationships. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder and “rainmaker” who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys networking and client engagement, and is motivated by high earnings potential with uncapped incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with referral partners to generate new business opportunities.
- Leverage existing referral pipelines and leads to drive new sales and client acquisition.
- Build trust and credibility with strategic partners, financial institutions, and advisors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, events, and professional relationships.
- Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and client presentations.
- Deliver presentations and discussions with prospective clients and referral sources.
- Host client relationship events and networking opportunities to strengthen partnerships.
- Maintain and grow relationships with high-value referral partners to maximize deal flow.
- Collaborate with internal technical experts to support complex sales opportunities.
- Utilize virtual meetings and occasional travel to maintain strong national client relationships.
- Track and manage opportunities through the sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in sales, business development, or relationship management roles.
- Strong ability to build and maintain high-level professional relationships.
- Proven ability to generate new business opportunities through networking and referral channels.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve sales results.
- Comfortable presenting to groups and representing the organization at conferences and industry events.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a national sales territory.
- Comfortable working in a consultative sales environment with long sales cycles.
