Our clients at the TPA firm have been in business for over 20 years and employ more than 50 staff members. Known for its fast-paced and rapidly growing environment, our firm seeks individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset. The culture is free from office politics, fostering a business casual atmosphere. The two partners have enrolled Auditors with experience from larger companies, and there is a strong sense of company pride among the team members.

The Benefit Practice, a retirement plan consulting and actuarial firm with offices in Connecticut and Florida, is seeking Defined Contribution Plan Administrators to support our growing client base. Positions are available in our Stamford, CT and Maitland, FL offices, or remotely.

In this role, you will manage the administration of defined contribution plans, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of defined contribution plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client Management - consulting with clients (as primary contact) and prospects regarding retirement plan issues and design alternatives (through telephone conversations, written communications, and face-to-face meetings).
  • Plan Administration - compliance testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), etc.), preparation of valuation reports.
  • Trust Accounting - review and reconciliation of asset activity for Plan valuation (both through investment platforms and brokerage accounts).
  • Government Forms - preparation of IRS Form 5500.
  • Plan Design - developing plan design options for prospects.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience in the administration of qualified retirement plans.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Related professional designations are a plus.
  • Experience with Relius Government Forms software a plus.
  • Experience with the ASC administration system a plus.
  • Motivated, career-driven (SOLID A-Z) with 401(k), MP, New Comparability/Cross-Testing experience; plan design.
  • Will own a book of clients – average size 50 to 60 participants;
